Comedic Monologues for Men
Prince Charming's Other First Kiss
by Adam Berg
In this Studio C skit, Prince Charming attempts to kiss Snow White who has a few more effects of being dead than the fairy tale would have you believe. He is basically giving himself a pep talk while dealing with that "corpse" smell and maggots in her mouth. It takes some pantomime skill especially when holding her hand, only to have her arm fall off.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
by Tom Stoppard
In this Hamlet spoof, Rosencrantz attempts to talk himself into thinking death is not so bad. But, he can't stop picturing himself being trapped in a box. Good audition piece. Might be too short for competition.
To Kiss or Not to Kiss
by Collin K. Sanders
A young man, on the doorstep with a date chooses the least romantic way to ask her to kiss him. Might be too short for competition but great for an audition.

Collected authors
Here is a booklet full of monologues for Latina and Latino actors. Not all of them are long enough. Some are too long. Look for those in which the character is trying to get something from another person instead of just telling a story.
Matilda
by Dennis Kelly
The Trunchbull threatens someone in no uncertain or subtle terms. This character is a woman, but is often played by a man on stage.
